Membership
Membership at the Saint Paul Tennis Club is limited to 216 family memberships and 60 single memberships. Memberships are open to all regardless of age, race, gender, or place of residence.
We offer both family and single memberships. Families are inclusive of married couples and domestic partnerships, and their children. Single members are individuals. Both types of memberships may bring guests for a nominal fee.
Applying for Membership
There is currently a very long Waitlist for Memberships. The estimated wait time from application to membership is now over 10 years.
The non-refundable application fee is $100. After applying, you will be placed on the waitlist. Memberships are offered on a first come, first serve basis as they become available due to attrition. The waitlist is ordered by date of application.
If you are interested in membership, you may apply online. (below)
Memberships are generally offered by email, in the spring prior to the club opening. Since the waiting period can be many years, applicants must keep their contact information up to date: emails, addresses, and cell phone numbers.
Failure to respond to a membership offer in a timely manner will result in removal from the waitlist.
Costs
*The Initiation Fee is a one-time, non-refundable charge that is paid at the time that a membership offer is accepted.
* Dues are charged annually to support the operations of the club and must be paid by April 15.
**The Capital Improvement Assessment is required to pay for major club improvements and to retire the debt for the new pool, club house, and tennis court watering system. All members are obligated to pay the annual assessment for 15 years.
Invoices for dues and assessments are emailed to members on February 1 of each year. Failure to make payment by April 15 will result in suspension of club privileges and termination of membership.
All costs are subject to change at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
